Job description

Position Summary

Resource Point of Sale, Staging and Implementation Technician is responsible for the efficient and effective execution of all customer hardware and software implementation. This position entails collaborating with customer facing teams to set schedules, troubleshoot hardware or software discrepancies while meeting customer expectations for accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage and coordinate customer on-boarding, upgrades, and installation for point of sale software
    • Complete process requires collaboration with RPOS sales, technical and projects teams
  • Collaborates with customers to build, configure, and implement point of sale (POS) software
  • Perform customer specific menu and database builds POS software
  • Use and maintain provided staging documentation to ensure all hardware & software testing and setup is done correctly and per customer specifications
  • Collaborates, plans, and executes hardware, software, and application project roll-outs
  • Responsible to perform all work in accordance with RPOS best practices and make suggestions to ensure said practices meet customer expectations ad industry standards.
  • Adherence to staging schedule and customer deadlines to meet RPOS contractual agreements
    • Maintain constant communication with customer facing teams and team leads to meet all deadlines
  • Drives continuous improvement projects to better utilize technology and facilities to facilitate successful execution of both the implementation and staging projects.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Must have experience with Point of Sale software and/or hardware
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Self-directed individual who leads projects and holds strong organizational skills
  • Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information
