Crane Operator - Oregon

 

Hamilton Construction Co., in business since 1939 is a heavy civil contractor specializing in bridge, highway interchange and rail bridge construction. Responsibilities:

  • The safe operation of company owned cranes under general supervision
  • Daily & Monthly maintenance and inspections
  • Assembly and disassembly of cranes for transport
  • Understand and follow all industry recognized signals and rigging practices
  • Ensure project safety rules and environmental regulations are followed at all times.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' previous crane operating experience, preferably on heavy civil construction projects including bridges, highway, transit and rail
  • NCCCO Certified for Lattice Boom Crawler Cranes and Telescopic Boom Cranes - Swing Cab
  • Proven communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments
  • Pile driving experience a plus
  • Ability to travel and relocate as required
  • Valid driver's license
  • This is a Safety Sensitive Position - drug screen and pre-employment background check are required
