Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tower Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications towers, ensuring optimal performance of 4G/LTE and 5G networks. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various telecommunications equipment and possess a strong understanding of rigging techniques, fiber splicing, and field service operations.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment on towers, including antennas and cabling for 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G systems.
- Operate bucket trucks safely to access high-altitude work areas.
- Perform fiber splicing and low voltage electrical work as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of tower structures to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to telecommunications equipment and connectivity.
- Collaborate with field service teams to deliver high-quality service to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during installations or repairs.
Preferred Experience
- Proven experience as a Tower Technician or in a similar role within the telecommunications industry.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and safety protocols for working at heights.
- Knowledge of telecommunications systems, including 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G technologies.
- Experience with bucket operation for accessing elevated work sites.
- Proficiency in low voltage electrical work and fiber splicing techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

TOWER TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have 1 to 3 years of industry experience
- Applicant/Employee weight and tools combined may not exceed 280-pound weight limit as specified by the manufacturer of safety equipment.
- Applicant/Employee waist circumference must not exceed 60 inches measured at the navel as specified by the manufacturer of safety equipment.
- Current Comtrain or equivalent certification in Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue Certification required or willing to be trained as such
- Highly organized and be able to effectively report verbally and written reports back to the Tower Supervisor.
- Possession of a valid driver license.
- Applicant must submit to and pass a complete criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen and on going monthly random drug testing.

Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid (Approximately Averages: 80% travelling out of town, 20% in Town)
Salary: $20.00-35.00 /hour (Depending on skill level and experience), 40-60 hours per week
