At Barnhart, we don't just move equipment - we solve complex challenges across industries. As a Driver / Rigger / Oiler, you'll take on a dynamic, hands-on role supporting crane operations, heavy haul transport, and rigging projects across a variety of job sites.

What You'll Do

This role is a true hybrid position-combining driving, rigging, and mechanical support-giving you exposure to multiple aspects of heavy lift operations and equipment. In this role, you will:

  • Support day-to-day crane operations including setup, rigging, and load movement
  • Drive and operate flatbeds, lowboys, and RGN trailers to transport equipment
  • Assist with crane assembly, maintenance, and job site support
  • Perform rigging, signaling, and load control to ensure safe lifting operations
  • Work on machinery moving, gantry systems, and heavy equipment projects
  • Collaborate with operators and crews across industrial, energy, and construction sites

What You Bring

Required:

  • CDL Class A license
  • Experience in rigging, construction, or heavy equipment environments
  • Ability to drive and transport equipment safely
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving ability
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment

Preferred:

  • Experience with heavy haul or over-dimensional loads
  • Background in gantry work, machinery moving, or crane support
  • Strong understanding of weights, balance, and rigging methods
