Job Summary
The Training Department Apprentice is an entry-level developmental role designed to build foundational knowledge in training coordination and administration. This role supports the tracking, scheduling, and organization of training activities while learning key systems, processes, and compliance requirements. The apprentice works under guidance to ensure training records are accurate and employees are supported in completing required training.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining training records, certifications, and qualifications with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support training assignments and updates within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Help update and maintain work center training structures in LMS and SAP (as applicable).
  • Assist in reviewing training hours and documentation for accuracy.
  • Support onboarding training logistics (scheduling, materials, attendance tracking).
  • Help coordinate mandatory training (safety, quality, compliance) by sending reminders and tracking completion.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining training materials and documents.
  • Provide basic support in pulling training reports and data for audits or leadership requests.
  • Respond to basic employee questions about training requirements or direct them to the appropriate resource.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in progress or completed preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in administration, training, HR, or manufacturing support.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., Excel, Outlook, data entry); LMS or SAP exposure is a plus but not required.
  • Willingness to learn systems, processes, and training requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 an hour
