Staff Software Engineer Java Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Alternate Experience: Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Java-based applications
• Implement and manage MASH middleware integration
• Build and maintain systems in Linux environments
• Optimize code for scalability and performance
• Collaborate with teams to define software requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Java programming
• Experience with MASH middleware
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker)
• Knowledge of RESTful API development
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of software testing frameworks
• Proficiency in performance tuning
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK)
