Position Overview

Flex Staff Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation center located in East Brunswick, New Jersey. This pivotal role requires a committed professional to provide high-quality patient care through the examination, evaluation, and development of comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individuals with functional limitations and disabilities. Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and developing customized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
  • Implementing physical therapy interventions, continuously monitoring patient progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Providing direct consultation with healthcare providers to ensure a seamless continuum of care for patients.
  • Maintaining precise documentation of all evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to deliver holistic patient care.
  • Participating in community outreach initiatives, marketing strategies, and program development efforts to enhance the visibility and impact of our services.
  • Supervising and mentoring support staff, including Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA), aides, and students, fostering professional development within the team.
  • Upholding best practices in productivity while contributing to quality improvement projects and departmental leadership functions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient population will encompass a diverse group, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neuro-related conditions, and elderly patients seeking to improve their mobility and strength. You will focus on delivering individualized care to patients of all ages while respecting cultural differences and specific needs.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems to ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to current evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting, particularly within rehabilitation environments. Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and familiarity with community outreach or inpatient rehabilitation services will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This Full-Time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
