Job Description

The HR Staffing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Human Resources team while ensuring all concessions locations are appropriately staffed for Pittsburgh Steelers games, concerts, and other special events at Acrisure Stadium. This position is responsible for assisting with the hiring process, onboarding, training, scheduling, and staffing of both hourly union employees and nonprofit groups. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist with all aspects of the hiring process, including reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and extending offers.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, including I-9 verification, employment paperwork, and orientation.
  • Schedule and facilitate new hire and required employee trainings.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Support recruitment efforts through job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach.
  • Coordinate staffing for concessions locations using hourly union employees and nonprofit organizations.
  • Build staffing plans to ensure all concession stands are adequately staffed for each event.
  • Communicate staffing needs, schedules, and event information to employees and nonprofit group leaders.
  • Assist with event-day staffing needs, including call-offs, reassignments, and last-minute coverage.
  • Partner with operations managers to ensure staffing aligns with business needs.
  • Assist with HR administrative tasks, reporting, and special projects as assigned.
  • Provide HR and staffing support to other Aramark Sports + Entertainment venues throughout the Pittsburgh market as needed.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, staffing, scheduling, or administrative support preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
  • Experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems is a plus.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Event-based position with a flexible schedule.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event calendar.
  • Some administrative work will be completed during standard business hours.
  • Occasional travel to support other Aramark venues throughout the Pittsburgh area may be required.
