Job description

Job Summary
Serve stadium and building personnel in the operation and supervisor of Interscholastic Athletics events.
This is a part-time position with a pay rate of $17.00 and $19.00 with Garrett/CPI training.
Position Summary
  • Provide safe environment for teams, participants, and spectators
  • Assist with crowd control and maintain order within the facility
  • Assist with scanning and entry control operations
  • Ancillary support to game manager with all crisis intervention management potentail hostitle situations
  • Assist with providing general direction and instructions to spectators
  • Set-up crowd control and safety equipment
  • Provide secure and safe dressing facilities for visting teams and officials
  • Assist with the staging with pre and post-game activities
  • Other duties as assisgned

Supervision Required
Report to the Manager of Athletics and Stadium/Building Manger
Job Requirements
  • 18 years or older with government photo ID
  • Working knowledge of Interscholastic Athletics Safety proceduers
  • Successful completeion of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) game operations and safety
  • Garrett Metal Detection Systgem and MPS Athletics Training session
  • Basic knowledge of first aid, CPR training
  • Working knowledge of conflict resolution and situational management
  • Properly attired with MPS athletics uniform
  • Posses effective verabal and interpersonal communcation skills
  • Commitment in the development of young people
  • Be in reasonable good health
  • May be required to assist with online ticketing services
