Forklift Driver | 8:00AM –4:30PM | Monday – Friday | $16.50/hr

Wage increase to $21.00/hr at six months.

Food grade warehouse and toll processing facility in Decatur, IL is looking for Forklift Driver.  This is a well-known and established family owned business in operation for over 100 years.  The position is long-term in a union facility with good pay and benefits including health insurance and a pension plan.

Qualifications for Forklift Driver

  • Excellent physical strength to handle 50+ pound bags
  • Willingness to perform physical labor such as stacking and palletizing
  • Solid work history with excellent attendance record
  • Forklift truck experience is a plus
  • Able to pass a drug screen

Responsibilities for Forklift Driver

  • Mixing dry and liquid food grade products
  • Packaging into bulk containers
  • Repackaging from pallet containers to individual bags
  • Palletizing and stacking finished product
  • Pulling and preparing customer orders for shipment
  • Maintaining inventory in an orderly fashion
