Job description

We are looking for a generalist software engineer with 2–6 years of experience to join our platform team and help build the infrastructure that powers LLM evaluations at scale. You'll work across the stack – from Python backend services to React frontend features – shipping quickly in a high-autonomy environment. This is a pure IC role where you'll be hands-on every day, tackling open-ended problems and iterating fast. We want someone with a sign of excellence – whether that's an impressive company, interesting research, a top-tier school, or a compelling project.

What you will be doing

  • Building and maintaining the platform that runs LLM benchmarks end to end – Python libraries, web platform, cloud infrastructure, and tooling
  • Working across the full stack as a generalist – backend Python/Django services and frontend React/TypeScript features depending on team needs
  • Taking fuzzy, open-ended problems and independently designing, building, and shipping solutions
  • Performing code reviews and architecture reviews for other engineers on the team
  • Collaborating closely with the research team to ensure infrastructure meets their evaluation needs

Tech stack:
Python, Django, React, TypeScript, AWS
Seniority:

2 - 6 years of experience in full-stack or platform engineering

Work experience

0-to-1 product building experience in big tech (e.g., FAANG, Bloomberg, NVIDIA), VC-backed startup, or as founder

Founded a company or worked at an early-stage startup

Experience building systems of meaningful scope in production

Education:

Undergrad CS degree from a top 25 program – top 5 program is requirement if experiences are not strong

Hard skills:

Production Python expertise in a professional setting

React/TypeScript frontend experience
