Location

Location: This role is based in New York City (HQ) with typically 4+ days per week in the office.

Responsibilities
  • Lead complex technical projects from ideation and design through production and deployment, for example, tune the dispatch algorithm to drive shift fill rate improvements, build better onboarding experiences to increase worker conversion, and more.
  • Design, architect, and build highly-performant and reliable technical features, tools, and services using Node.js, React/React Native, Mongo, Python, GCP, Javascript.
  • Drive the technical vision, influence product strategy, and conduct regular technical reviews.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of our product and platform in a high user volume, two-sided marketplace environment to resolve issues and clear the shift marketplace.
  • Serve as a mentor for junior engineers and participate in scaling our team.
