Job Description: Position: Network Administrator Location: Columbia, SC Hybrid (2 days onsite per week) Years of Exp: 07+Years Work Type: C2C/W2 Duration:12 Months Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident. No relocation allowed. Scope of the Project This role supports a state agency's data, application services, and servers, including migration to the Azure cloud.

The candidate will help deploy, administer, and manage Azure solutions while ensuring compliance with state and federal architecture and security standards, and maintain seamless communication between agency systems and partners. Position Description: The Network Administrator will provide technical expertise to support ongoing projects and system administration for the agency's Server and Cloud Services Administration unit. Reporting to the manager and Director of Network Operations and Data Center Services, the candidate will collaborate with infrastructure, server, and database teams to ensure secure, stable, and high-performing systems.

Daily Duties & Responsibilities Migrate file and application storage to Azure cloud solutions. Monitor and support Azure/cloud storage solutions, resolving performance issues. Administer user/group access, security, and lifecycle processes for enterprise storage systems.

Ensure integration and performance of systems, applications, and services. Analyze systems for usability, scalability, and security compliance. Support MS DevOps system development, maintenance, and enhancements.

Collaborate with Security, End User Support, Network Services, and Communications teams to design Azure infrastructure. Implement and monitor security countermeasures in the Microsoft cloud tenant. Perform off-hours and weekend maintenance as needed.

Mentor junior staff and ensure efficient team collaboration. Administer virtualization platforms, remote tools, and communication systems. Required Skills 2-4 years of experience with Azure Cloud and virtualization.

2-4 years of experience with MS Active Directory. 2-4 years of experience with PowerShell. Datacenter and network infrastructure experience.

User/group management, authentication, and GPO security policies. Preferred Skills Knowledge of open-source frameworks (e.g., ASP.Net). 3+ years of experience with Proofpoint

Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, and SQL Server. Soft Skills: Strong oral and written communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Clear documentation and reporting skills.

Experience working with cross-functional teams. Mentoring junior staff. Willingness to work off-hours and weekends for maintenance.
