A Day in This Seat

You start your shift with a meticulous pre-trip, step into your dedicated tractor (no slip seating), and roll out on regional lanes. Most nights, you’re routing back home. At each stop, you’ll tailgate mid-weight freight with cart assistance, keep customers updated, and document as you go. Wrap up with a post-trip inspection and handoff to dispatch—ready to do it again tomorrow with consistent miles and steady work.

Role Snapshot
  • Starting pay: $30.00/hour
  • Schedule: Full-time, typically 40–70 hours weekly
  • Sign-on bonus: $2,000
  • Regional routes with home time most nights
  • Assigned truck—no slip seating
  • Partial touch freight with tailgating using cart assistance
What You’ll Do
  • Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely on assigned regional routes
  • Deliver on-time while providing courteous, professional service
  • Complete thorough pre- and post-trip inspections for compliance and safety
  • Coordinate with dispatch, customers, and internal teams for seamless deliveries
  • Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
What You’ll Bring
  • Valid Class A CDL with a safe driving record
  • 2+ years of verifiable CDL-A experience (or 1 year with a certified training program)
  • 21+ years of age and DOT qualified
  • Comfort tailgating mid-weight freight with cart assistance
  • Excellent time management and customer service skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
