Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Support formulation and characterization of biotherapeutic drug product discovery and development across therapeutic areas.
  • Perform protein analytical techniques to optimize formulation and process to support development candidate nomination.
  • Assess biotherapeutic stability as a function of formulation and process and facilitate tech transfer.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences (or related) with 4+ years relevant hands-on experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years.
Skills/Experience:
  • Solid understanding of protein biotherapeutics, especially stability and formulation challenges.
  • Experience analyzing proteins using standard analytical and/or biophysical techniques.
  • Knowledge/interest in advanced analytical & biophysical techniques: DLS, SEC-MALS, batch MALS, circular dichroism, fluorescence, Amide IFTIR, DSC thermal stability, sub-visible particle analysis.
  • Familiarity with electronic lab notebooks; strong written/oral communication.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, able to multi-task.
  • Demonstrate Collaboration, Accountability, Passion, Respect, and Integrity; interact effectively in a dynamic, culturally diverse workplace.
Nice to have:
  • Automated chromatography workstations (e.g., AKTA FPLCs) and multi-dimensional purification; scientific publications.
Where/Travel:
  • Bridgewater, NJ; full-time, in-person. Minimal travel.

Pay Range: $103,000-$131,000 annually.
