HSHS St Nicholas Hospital is seeking a Paramedic to join our Emergency Department (ED). Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in a fast-paced environment with complex acuities. New grads welcomed to apply.
Position Specifics:
Department: Emergency Department (ED)
Core Function: Nursing Support
Schedule: Full-time: 36 hrs/wk, Day Shift (7a-7p) and every third weekend
Facility: St. Nicholas Hospital
Location: Sheboygan, WI


Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or related vocational training is required.

Experience Qualifications

  • 6 months of experience in an acute setting patient care role is required.
  • 6 months of experience in emergency trauma care is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate, EMT-Paramedic, active enrollment in EMT Paramedic program with IV training completion or CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) certification is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
