Unarmed Security Officer
Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Solon, OH

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Pay: $14.75/hour

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience preferred; security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience desired.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional, customer-focused demeanor with the ability to de-escalate situations.
  • Ability to use sound judgment, take initiative, manage priorities, and work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Provide security services in accordance with company policies, post orders, and management direction.
  • Conduct interior and exterior patrols by foot, vehicle, golf cart, or bicycle as assigned.
  • Identify and report security threats, hazards, unsafe conditions, and emergencies.
  • Perform site-specific duties such as customer service, loss prevention, visitor reception, elevator security, and loading dock security.
  • Monitor activity, respond to incidents, and notify appropriate personnel as required.
  • Complete accurate incident reports documenting unusual activity and resolutions.
  • Follow emergency procedures, the Use of Force Policy, company standards, and site requirements.
  • Maintain reliable attendance, professional appearance, and participate in required training.
  • Perform additional security and support duties as directed.
