Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room

Cudahy, WI, United States

The amazing team at Southshore’s Community Hospital is an experienced group of caregivers who treat patients with various emergent and critical care needs. This Level IV trauma unit (17 monitor bed) welcomes experienced and strong communicators who are skilled and engaged to provide a compassionate level of patient centered care with collaboration and a commitment to delivery high quality, exceptional care. This high volume, fast-paced unit is needing dynamic teammates like you!

We’re Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in clinical nursing required - this position is not for new grads Would consider a newly licensed RN with EMT, Paramedic, ED externship experience

What You’ll Do:

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
