Homewinding Program Information

St. Croix Rod's Homewinding Program is a unique employment opportunity. To further explain this opportunity, highlights of the program are listed below:

  • In-house Training When an individual joins the St. Croix's Homewinding Team, St. Croix provides up to 9 weeks of paid in-house training in our production facility. This required training enables the new team member to learn the skills to be successful from experienced winders.
  • Flexible Schedule Each homewinder is assigned a day of the week when his/her completed rods are to be returned to St. Croix each week. The next week's unfinished rods are then picked up at that time and the homewinder has the next seven days to complete the order. This weekly rotation enables St. Croix to maintain a reliable production schedule.
  • Discount Purchase Program Since homewinders are part of the St. Croix team, you would be eligible for discounts on St. Croix products!
