Job description

Job Posting The Mounds View Police Department seeks a LATERAL School Resource Officer (SRO) to join our agency of professionals in their commitment to protect and serve the community. While school is in session you will primarily work in Mounds View's elementary and middle schools, ensuring student and teacher safety, and fostering positive relationships. The SRO works Monday - Friday's, no weekends or holidays during the school year.

The SRO receives an additional 2.75% of wages while designated and serving in this capacity. In summer months, this position will return to the streets, and in the fall, return to the school. This is a long-term SRO position
