Position Overview
The Senior Tax Manager will lead complex tax engagements and provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to a diverse client base. This role will oversee sophisticated tax matters, manage client relationships, and provide leadership and development to tax professionals.
Responsibilities Of The Senior Tax Manager
  • Lead complex tax engagements involving high-net-worth individuals, multi-entity businesses, and sophisticated organizational structures.
  • Advise clients on tax planning, entity structuring, succession planning, transactions, and long-term tax strategies.
  • Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client objectives.
  • Develop engagement strategies and coordinate with internal specialists and external advisors as needed.
  • Research complex tax issues and stay current on changes to tax legislation and regulations.
  • Serve as a technical resource on emerging tax matters and industry developments.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, documentation, quality control, and engagement efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop managers, senior associates, and other tax professionals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Collaborate with assurance, advisory, and accounting teams to provide integrated client solutions.
