Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Sourcing Manager to lead our vendor and supplier management efforts. The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for sourcing and qualifying vendors and suppliers, managing Request for Proposals (RFPs), negotiating contracts, and overseeing vendor management activities. This role is crucial in ensuring that the company secures high-quality products and services at competitive prices while maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and qualify vendors and suppliers to meet the company’s needs for goods and services related to datacenter operations and digital infrastructure.
• Develop, manage, and execute Request for Proposals (RFPs) to ensure competitive bidding and selection of the best vendors.
• Lead contract negotiations with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules that align with company objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with key vendors, monitor their performance, and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the supply chain while ensuring quality and reliability.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, supplier innovations, and emerging technologies that may impact sourcing strategies.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, vendor performance, and contractual obligations.
• Work closely with internal departments, including Procurement, Operations, and Legal, to ensure sourcing strategies align with organizational goals.
• Prepare and present regular reports on sourcing activities, vendor performance, and cost savings to senior management.
• Identify and implement best practices in sourcing and vendor management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, contract management, or supply chain management, preferably in the technology, infrastructure, or datacenter sectors.

Skills:

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in sourcing and procurement software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing structures.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to analyze schedule data and identify trends, deviations, and potential risks. Strong quantitative skills to perform schedule variance analysis and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate schedule status, issues, and recommendations to project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address schedule conflicts, delays, and constraints. Proactive in proposing solutions and making adjustments to maintain project schedule adherence.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, project managers, and stakeholders. Facilitate discussions and consensus-building on schedule-related matters.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities, timelines, and scope. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization, promoting agility and responsiveness to evolving technological advancements.
• Adherence to ethical standards and compliance with organizational policies, ensuring integrity in schedule reporting and management.

Certifications: Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent certification is a plus.
