We are looking for an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Adoption Coach to accelerate the integration of AI across our software development teams. In this role, the AI Adoption Coach works closely with software development teams and key stakeholders to assess current AI literacy, identify skill gaps, and deliver tailored coaching that positively impacts the software development life cycle. Blending practical engineering experience with deep expertise in agentic coding tools, the AI Adoption Coach leads coaching sessions and workshops, develops demos and training materials, and helps foster communities of practice. Ultimately, the AI Adoption Coach empowers teams to leverage AI safely, effectively, and confidently—driving measurable gains in productivity and cost savings while maintaining code quality.

This position is a hybrid role requiring at least 1 day per week in any of the following office locations: Allen, TX, Birmingham, AL, Louisville, KY, Cedar Falls, IA, Charlotte, NC, Lenexa, KS, Monett, MO, or Springfield, MO.

What you’ll be responsible for:
  • Develops prototypes, utilities, and supplementary tools to facilitate the integration and adoption of AI technologies.
  • Identifies and addresses skill gaps by evaluating current AI literacy levels within development teams in partnership with business and IT stakeholders. Utilizes information to create customized solutions for each business unit.
  • Creates and develops outcome-focused learning with clear pathways including formal courses, timely microbursts, social interaction, and practical on-the-job experiences.
  • Fosters a continuous learning culture through interactive microlearning, coaching, and communities of practice.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
  • Minimum of 6 years combination experience in any of the following categories: software development, quality assurance, business analysis and or coaching.
  • Experience programming in any of the following: C#, Java, Golang, C++, JavaScript, Python or Swift.
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to clearly communicate complex technical topics and tailor messages to different stakeholder groups.
  • Proven experience in coaching, particularly in complex, highly regulated environments, to guide teams through the adoption of new technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with AI principles, techniques, and methodologies with an emphasis on software engineering.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% to attend internal business meetings, training and or client engagements.

  • Experience in effectively coaching technical teams and deliver hands‑on, experiential learning sessions.
  • Previous experience working with cross‑functional teams, such as HR and various business units, to align learning initiatives with business strategy.
