Job Summary:
Vantor is forging the new frontier of spatial intelligence, helping decision makers and operators navigate what’s happening now and shape what’s coming next. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop high-performance API-driven services and data-ingest pipelines for U.S. Government customers, focusing on secure and cloud-ready code.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Python frameworks.
• Build and integrate backend services, data pipelines, and enterprise application components.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, data engineers, and UI/UX developers to implement end-to-end solutions.
• Develop automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes within Agile environments.
• Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, and integration challenges across distributed systems.
• Support cloud-native deployments, containerization, and secure software development practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly.
• 2-5 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Experience developing applications using Java and Python.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, web services, and backend integrations.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases and SQL development.
