Job description

Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive senior software engineer to help with the modernization and migration of Java 1.8 based legacy applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, JavaScript, Spring, SpringBoot, Rest Webservices, application security, automation, and AWS. The role involves analyzing existing legacy systems, modernizing components, building Jenkins pipelines, and ensuring security best practices.

Analyze and migrate Java 1.8 legacy applications to AWS cloud infrastructure

Refactor or rewrite legacy components where necessary for cloud compatibility

Design and implement robust Jenkins CICD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments

Research and document end to end data flow across legacy and cloud systems

Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand application dependencies and integration points

Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in legacy code and infrastructure

Must be on call support on a rotational basis for about 1 to 2 weeks a month

Mandatory Skills: Java, AWS, Javascript. Springboot and Microservices.
