Responsibilities:


To assimilate/ review / define engineering specifications from system data and carryout reliability qualitative / quantitative analysis (reliability, safety and maintainability analysis, etc.,) of the product and support activities related to reliability validation test. Few common tasks are:

o Failure mode effect analysis (FMEA/FMECA) at LRU and system level

o Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Reliability Block Diagram Analysis

o Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA)

o Failure Rate/MTBF Predictions and Reports (Parts Count and Parts Stress)

o Component Stress and Derating

o Built In Test (BIT) Analysis 

o Maintainability Predictions and Reports

o Reliability Planning which includes Test Planning

o Life Data Analysis

o Standard Operating Procedures, PFMEA, Assembly instructions etc.

o Manufacturing Process Sheets

To analyze test data and prepare reliability report / reliability test plan with recommendations complying with reliability techniques to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems. Provide support to ensure implementation of suggestion to improve reliability and quality deliverables

To provide guidance for developing engineering solutions to overcome product's repetitive failures or other problems like quality, safety, regulatory compliance, cost etc. applying appropriate Data analysis techniques and support to implement reliability report suggestions

To interact with designated SPOC (internal/external) or as SPOC, understand work scope, capture design/process limitations, identify risks for problem statement definition, resolve technical issues, implement customer requirements addressing work task dynamics like insufficient data, change in work scope, Schedule / effort variance etc.

To own, review and validate the generated outputs (including self and for team) per defined standards, checklists, reliability practices first time right, on-time deliverables

To track, prioritize, plan and complete owned/ delegated tasks in stipulated time and escalate for revisiting timelines in case of complex work requests / scope changes and facilitate metric generation, prepare status reports, minutes of meeting notes etc.

To work independently, assign work and mentor / guide / train team members to generate quality outputs per desired reliability requirements through trainings, knowledge sharing session, technical discussion, technical guidance etc. and improve on required abilities
