Job Summary:
Satine Technologies is hiring Site Reliability Engineers at Senior and Staff levels for a mission-critical platform engineering program. The role involves building and operating a cloud platform, ensuring reliability, and improving CI/CD pipelines and observability systems.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Build and operate Kubernetes clusters and cloud infrastructure
โ€ข Own and improve CI/CD pipelines - reliability, deployment safety, rollback capability
โ€ข Implement and maintain observability: metrics, logging, alerting, dashboards
โ€ข Write Terraform and IaC to provision and manage cloud resources
โ€ข Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response for platform issues
โ€ข Identify and drive reliability improvements - SLO gaps, toil reduction, capacity issues
โ€ข Document what you build so the team can operate and extend it
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 5+ years of SRE, DevOps, or systems/infrastructure engineering experience
โ€ข Working proficiency with Kubernetes - you understand how it works, not just how to use kubectl
โ€ข Hands-on Terraform experience
โ€ข Solid cloud fundamentals on at least one major platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
โ€ข Strong Linux command line - comfortable debugging system-level issues
โ€ข US citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status (Public Trust eligibility required)
โ€ข 7+ years of SRE, platform engineering, or DevOps experience
โ€ข Strong Kubernetes - you've operated clusters in production, not just deployed workloads to them
โ€ข Terraform or equivalent IaC at real scale
โ€ข Solid Linux fundamentals - you can debug a system-level issue, understand network behavior, read a flame graph
