Job description

Role: Python AWS Developer

Location: Malvern, PA - onsite

Long term contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using Python and AWS cloud services.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
  • Develop serverless applications utilizing AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
  • Implement cloud-native architectures leveraging AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, and SNS.
  • Design and optimize data pipelines for processing large-scale datasets.
  • Integrate applications with third-party APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and logging tools.
  • Implement security best practices including IAM policies, encryption, secrets management, and compliance controls.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product Owners, and Solution Architects to deliver high-quality solutions.
