Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst supports the Americas Commercial Finance team by providing forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis that enables informed business decisions. This role partners closely with commercial leaders to analyze performance, develop forecasts, and provide insights that support growth and operational effectiveness. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and budgets for bookings and operating expenses.
  • Partner with commercial sales leaders to evaluate business activities and forecast their impact on revenue and financial performance.
  • Analyze business performance, including project wins, bookings, and expenses, and provide recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Prepare and deliver reporting on key metrics, sales objectives, quotas, and areas of opportunity or risk.
  • Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to provide analytical support and drive alignment across the commercial organization.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related finance role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with financial models and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Hyperion, Tableau, business intelligence tools, or similar reporting platforms.
  • Knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, and performance management processes.
  • Experience supporting commercial or sales organizations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Locations: Indianapolis, IN (hybrid) 

We are seeking candidates who are based in or willing to commute to our Indianapolis location on a bybrid schedule.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $90,000 - 120,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.  This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
