IT Project Manager โ€“ Job Summary (List Format)
- Responsible for achieving project objectives, completion on time, within budget, and following Clinic IT methodologies and practices.
- Solicits input from senior technical resources and facilitates technology problem-solving for project teams.
- Manages projects with up to $1 million budget; may oversee staff from other IT departments/divisions and contractor/vendor resources.
- May present project requests to committees/oversight bodies for approval and direction.
- Supports senior project/program managers in strategic planning processes as needed.
- Makes independent decisions and actions to accomplish project goals with minimal supervision.
- Advises IT staff on project management practices, methods, and standards.
- Demonstrates and promotes a project-focused culture within the IT department.
- Manages multiple priorities and communicates complex technical information clearly to management and end users.
- Ensures strict adherence to budget management guidelines of IT and the institution; may assist in developing and tracking project budgets.
- Performs additional related duties as assigned by supervisor.
