The Opportunity
Lauren is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer, P.E., to lead engineering activities on EPC/EPCM projects across the Oil & Gas, Midstream, Pipeline, LNG, and Industrial sectors. This role provides technical leadership from concept and detailed design through construction support, commissioning, and startup.
What You'll Do
  • Lead Instrumentation & Controls engineering design and execution.
  • Develop and review P&IDs, instrument datasheets, I/O lists, control narratives, loop drawings, and control system architecture.
  • Support HAZOP, SIL, and functional safety reviews.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Act as Engineer of Record and provide stamped deliverables where required.

What You'll Bring
  • Active Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or Louisiana PE with ability to obtain Texas comity.
  • 8+ years of Instrumentation & Controls engineering experience.
  • EPC/EPCM project delivery experience.
  • Experience supporting Oil & Gas, Midstream, Pipeline, LNG, Petrochemical, or Industrial facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and SIS systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
