Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to support the Corporate Trust technology organization by developing, modernizing, and maintaining business-critical applications. This individual will lead the full software development lifecycle across enterprise platforms while ensuring security, resiliency, scalability, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate possesses deep full-stack engineering expertise across Java, Angular, APIs, cloud technologies, containers, and DevOps practices. This engineer will play a key role in application modernization, production support, technical debt reduction, automation, observability, and engineering leadership while partnering closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
Full Software Development Lifecycle
  • Lead application delivery from requirements analysis through architecture, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technology solutions.
  • Coordinate delivery efforts across multiple applications and technology teams.
  • Ensure releases are supported by testing, documentation, operational readiness, and rollback planning.
Full Stack Application Engineering
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Angular.
  • Develop REST APIs, microservices, integrations, and event-driven services.
  • Contribute across all layers including frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and integrations.
  • Support applications leveraging Oracle and SQL Server databases.
Architecture, Scalability & Performance
  • Design solutions that meet enterprise requirements for performance, resiliency, security, and scalability.
  • Support microservices, API-first architectures, and event-driven solutions.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across application and database layers.
  • Evaluate architectural options and provide technical recommendations to stakeholders.
Application Modernization & Technical Debt Reduction
  • Lead structured refactoring and modernization initiatives.
  • Reduce technical debt and remediate vulnerable or unsupported dependencies.
  • Improve automated test coverage and software quality.
  • Introduce modern engineering practices while maintaining platform stability.
Production Support & Platform Resiliency
  • Own operational health and resiliency of business-critical production applications.
  • Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Improve monitoring, observability, alerting, logging, metrics, and distributed tracing capabilities.
  • Implement sustainable solutions for recurring production issues.
DevOps & Release Engineering
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and release automation capabilities.
  • Improve deployment reliability through automation, feature-flagging, and rollback strategies.
  • Incorporate automated testing and security controls into delivery pipelines.
  • Support environment provisioning and release management activities.
Security, Governance & Risk Management
  • Champion secure software development lifecycle practices.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, audit, and control requirements.
  • Support vulnerability remediation, secrets management, identity and access management, and security scanning.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and technical evidence.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and reinforce quality, security, testing, and documentation standards.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, operations teams, and cross-functional technology organizations.
  • Communicate technical risks, architectural decisions, and project status to leadership and stakeholders.
