• Serve as a senior technical leader helping define the technical strategy for DevOps across the enterprise.
• Develop technical processes that increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve performance at scale across all development teams.
• Automate build and deployment of custom application code throughout the application lifecycle.
• Build monitoring solutions that improve visibility into application performance and keep operational workload in check.
• Create deployable and scalable infrastructure and educate others on infrastructure‑as‑code patterns.
• Develop container orchestration to support deployment and lifecycle management of applications running in AWS.
• Work directly with development teams as a DevSecOps SME to troubleshoot toolchain issues.
• Architect and implement robust IaC solutions using Terraform and Terraform Cloud (HCP).
• Design and optimize secure, scalable CI/CD/CT pipelines leveraging Azure DevOps or other future technologies.
• Drive security automation utilizing SAST, DAST, SCA, and container scanning via Security Department tool chains.
• Mentor, guide, and train junior DevSecOps team members and internal development customer teams in best practices.
• Implement the entire TXM DevSecOps toolchain, supporting strategic and operational activities across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with IT operations and security teams to integrate security into all phases of software delivery.
• Help design and build a next‑generation Integrated Development Platform, leveraging GenAI and ML technologies.
• Apply transformative CI/CD/CT automation, shift‑left integrations, and advanced maturity models to achieve enterprise‑grade results.
• Lead large‑scale on‑premises transitions to AWS‑ECS implementations with IaC, container orchestration, and zero‑downtime strategies.
• Shape enterprise‑wide cloud adoption, drive transformative initiatives such as cloud governance, FinOps, IAAS, and align technical execution with business outcomes.
• Translate complex initiatives into sprint‑driven deliverables, align cross‑functional teams, and embed security practices into iterative workflows.
• Design data‑driven solutions to optimize development workflows.
• Understand security frameworks (NIST, CIS) and shift implementation left using tooling automation and policy as code.
• Develop DevSecOps tooling and process enhancements that can be integrated into an internal development platform.
• Integrate DevSecOps and Platform Engineering initiatives into company goals to deliver real business value.

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field, or equivalent training and experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering/Operations.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on AWS experience.
• SAA, SysOps, SAPro, and DevOps Pro certifications preferred.
• At least 3 years of software development experience using modern programming languages and applicable frameworks.
• Expert‑level knowledge of Terraform and Terraform Cloud (HCP) for infrastructure automation.
• Strong proficiency with CI/CD platforms, especially Azure DevOps and Jenkins/CloudBees CI.
• Hands‑on experience with SonarQube (or equivalent) for code quality analysis.
• Deep understanding of observability and performance monitoring with tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, Prometheus+Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Extensive knowledge of IAM, secrets management, zero‑trust security architectures, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
• Proficiency in both Windows and Linux‑based operating systems.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives, drive cultural transformation, and influence cross‑functional teams.

• Certifications in DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, and Docker.
• Experience building and integrating with APIs.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot applications.
• Certified Docker Associate.
• Hands‑on experience with HashiCorp Sentinel and Packer.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
• Master’s degree in CS, IT, or related engineering field.
• 104+ years of direct, hands‑on experience.
• Experience building integrated development platforms (IDP).
• AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect Associate, Developer Associate, SysOps Associate, ML Engineer Associate, Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Professional, or any AWS Specialty certifications.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CKS, or OSCP.
• Linux administrator certifications.
• Knowledge of SRE concepts around application hardening, automated scaling, fault‑tolerance, A/B testing.
• Experience implementing deployment methods such as blue/green, immutable, rolling, and canary deployments.

Base Pay Range: $136,408 - $168,504 per year.

Flex‑Hybrid Work Environment: Staff may work remotely and collaborate in the office based on business needs. All employees are required to have Texas residency and travel to a designated office as needed.
