(Flintco, LLC has an opening in Austin, TX) Senior Business Development Manager: Responsible for initiating and cultivating new business with South Korean companies investing in development projects, and maintaining relationships with potential and repeat customers, architects, engineers and subcontractors, all within a particular geographic location or segment of the company, and in cooperation with corporate goals and the marketing plans of the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. Develop strategies to gain access and acquire business relationships with South Korean companies investing in North and South America. Perform research (prospect) and client contact to identify and prioritize potential South Korean markets and customers. Drive growth by identifying and leading pursuits of potential project leads that align with the strategic goals that contribute to the overall success. Determine client needs and evaluate company resources and capabilities in light of those needs. Meet with client management, staff and supervisory personnel to explain culture, policies, skills, resources, and capabilities of the company. Assist in the development of company marketing plans and goals, and in developing strategy for management client contacts regarding new work, and future work potential. Call on architects, engineers and subcontractors to stay informed of forthcoming and contingent projects. Notify area leadership team of sales activities and approximate timing for company proposal and bid submittals. Identify new work leads and manage lead follow-up, CRM database tools and information distribution. Assist in implementation of business development action plans formulated by the corporate business development group. Provide data and assistance in establishing regional office overhead budgets with area leadership team. Perform added assignments at supervisor's direction. Models and reinforces safety as a top priority of the organization. Ensures client satisfaction, both internally and externally, through positive, pleasant, professional and efficient handling of issues. Prepare operations team members for presentations and interviews. Plan, execute, and manage budget for client functions, sponsorships, fundraising and community events. Manage expense reports and mileage tracking. Must be fluent in Korean. Frequent international travel may be required to South Korea and Canada. Requires a Bachelor's degree in International Studies, Business Administration, or related and 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered, Global Sales Professional, or related. 5 years must include experience with: (1) Marketing or sales functions; (2) Managing expense reports and mileage tracking; (3) Reading, analyzing and interpreting documents related to project management such as requests for proposals (RFP), and requests for qualifications (RFQ); (4) Writing routine reports and correspondence related to project management; (5) Reading and analyzing Business plans, Commercial Invoices; and (6) Presenting information to groups of clients, employees of organizations or top management regarding ISO Standards.
