Senior Data Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support the design, deployment, and stabilization of an enterprise API platform across multi-cloud and on-premises environments. This role requires strong experience with Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, Terraform, CI/CD, and API platform technologies.
The ideal candidate will work closely with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to build scalable cloud-native solutions, automate deployments, and support enterprise modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes environments across cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
- Support enterprise API platform deployments and integrations.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Configure and support multi-cloud environments across Azure and GCP.
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Implement monitoring, observability, and operational best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform stability and readiness.
- Create technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and platform improvements.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (AKS/GKE).
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience working in Azure cloud environments.
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise.
- CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation experience.
- Experience with API platforms and microservices architectures.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise API management platforms.
- Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and security best practices.
- Experience working in healthcare or regulated environments.
- Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Cloud or Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
