Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality engineering efforts across our applications and platforms, with a strong focus on automation strategy, scalable test frameworks, and release quality. This role will partner closely with product managers, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to drive test planning, improve automation coverage, mentor team members, and ensure high-quality releases across complex business and technical workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead test strategy, planning, and execution across functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and suites
  • Define automation standards, best practices, and quality gates across the SDLC
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster release cycles
  • Review product requirements and technical designs to ensure strong testability and risk coverage
  • Perform targeted manual testing for complex, high-risk, and exploratory scenarios where automation is not sufficient
  • Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Drive validation of APIs, data flows, integrations, and downstream system impacts
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote strong testing discipline across the team
  • Provide clear reporting on testing progress, release readiness, risks, and quality metrics
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to continuously improve QA processes, tooling, and release confidence

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including significant hands-on automation experience
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle, and SDLC/STLC processes
  • Proven experience building and scaling automation frameworks for web, API, and integration testing
  • Strong experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, or similar technologies
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices
  • Experience testing complex enterprise applications, integrations, and data-driven workflows
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience using Jira or similar defect and test management platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence quality practices across teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading QA efforts for large-scale or enterprise platforms
