Job Description

Job Title: .Net Developer

Location: Philadelphia PA 19107

Duration: 6+ months

Job Summary

Perform analysis, design of technical specifications, coding, testing, and support of new and existing custom applications. Developing new modules and business processing within our custom SmartClient/WinForm Applications and facilitate direction to web centric Application platform.

Will create applications utilizing C#, VB.NET and ASP.Net with Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010, SQL Server 2008, SSIS and SSRS. Experience in Object Oriented Design patterns and Test Driven Design practices are important.

Maintain an expertise in industry standards and patterns using Microsoft development products.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

May assist in the day-to-day leadership for one or more functions within an IT department.

Critical to success is demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of the software development lifecycle and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.

Understanding Agile Development SDLC with Iterative release schedules. Demonstrated experience in developing ASP.NET, C# and VB .NET applications.

MUST HAVE: Proven experience in design and development of large scale N-Tier application. Microsoft Development skills: C#, VB.NET, WinForms, Web Services, WCF, ASP.NET, HTML, SQL Server '08, SSRS, SSIS and Object Oriented Development.
