Job Description:
Requirements:
• Master's/Bachelor's degree in computer science
• At least 7 years of proven work experience as a Database administrator
• Familiarity with Oracle/SQL Server database design, coding, and documentation
• Knowledge of Oracle Exadata administration, Oracle Application Express, Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Data Guard
• Knowledge of database backup/recovery procedures, performance tuning and SQL
Oracle and SQL Server Database Administrator Responsibilities:
• Assume the role of an independent contributor as an IT professional responsible for design of databases for financial applications
• Experience and provide 24/7 Production Environment Support and managing High Availability environments using Real Application Cluster (RAC), Failovers, Data Guard, RMAN and Cloning technologies using data domain.
• Experience & implementation of MS SQL Server Database, Oracle Database, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle OID/LDAP, Apache Tomcat, Oracle Application Express (APEX) and Oracle Restful Data Services (ORDS)
• Experience in Oracle Exadata administration.
• Experience in Oracle Data Guard and storage replication.
• Experience in shell scripting and automation of day to day activities.
• Experience in database user provisioning/deprovisioning.
• Experience in database performance tuning and patching.
• Proven ability to contribute to projects with some guidance, capacity to work both independently and in a team and a willingness to seek advice and assistance
• Knowledge on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) & Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a Plus
