Job description

Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a Databricks Administrator / Azure SQL Server DBA with strong banking domain experience. The role involves managing SQL Server databases and administering Databricks environments for data analytics and machine learning, ensuring performance, availability, and security.
Responsibilities:
• MUST HAVE BANKING EXPERIENCE
• 10+ years managing SQL Server databases both on-prem and in the cloud, ensuring performance, availability, and security.
• 5+ years administering and optimizing Databricks environments for data analytics, machine learning, and data engineering.
• Need very good experience with Azure Databricks
• 5+ years providing on-call support for Databricks and SQL Server platforms, ensuring uptime and resolving incidents.
• 7+ years ensuring data security, classification, and masking techniques are applied within the environment.
• 4+ years leading the migration of SQL Server databases from on-prem to cloud-based solutions.
• 3+ years leading Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform for automating deployments and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• 4+ years implementing and maintaining platform SLAs, backup, and disaster recovery strategies in alignment with Azure policies.
• 5+ years collaborating with cloud architects and engineers on cloud migrations and integration projects.
