Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support a Quality Engineering team through advanced data analysis, reporting, and scorecard development. This role works with quality datasets to generate actionable insights, identify trends, and support leadership decision-making through executive dashboards and analytics.

Key Responsibilities 1. Data Collection & Preparation
  • Partner with client stakeholders to gather data from internal systems
  • Validate, cleanse, and preprocess datasets for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Structure datasets for multi-dimensional analysis (time period, program/area, severity level, employee attributes)
2. Data Analysis & Insights
  • Perform detailed analysis across quality metrics and defect data
  • Conduct month-over-month and year-over-year comparisons to surface patterns and deviations
  • Generate weekly and monthly trend insights
3. Trend Analysis & Reporting
  • Build analytical models and recurring reports
  • Run comparative analysis across time periods (monthly, quarterly, annual) and organizational segments (business units, functions, tenure groups)
  • Align reporting and scorecard formats to enterprise or site-level frameworks (e.g., BCA or equivalent)
  • Standardize KPIs, metric definitions, and reporting templates so they scale across multiple locations
  • Develop executive-level dashboards using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or PowerPoint
  • Deliver trend charts, heatmaps and distribution analyses, and leadership-ready insight summaries
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback to refine analysis, dashboards, and outputs
  • Expand analytics scope with new metrics, dimensions, or predictive insights
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3–7 years in data analysis, reporting, or analytics
  • Advanced Excel and SQL; Python or R preferred
  • Power BI and/or Tableau
