Position: Power BI Developer

Location: Jacksonville, FL (Onsite)

Duration: 8+ months

Exp Level: 6+ years

Description:

Write formulas for custom measures, calculated columns, and complex data aggregations. Query databases directly, join tables, and optimize data extraction routines.

Build efficient star schemas and define accurate table relationships for fast report performance.

Extract, transform, and clean raw data from different sources before it enters the model.

Manage workspaces, configure scheduled data refreshes, deploy apps, and set up row-level security (RLS)

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Build scalable semantic models, star schemas, and relationships using Power BI.
  • Extensive experience building executive power BI dashboards.
  • Create advanced DAX calculations and optimized Power Query transformations.
  • Tune large data models, gateways, and reports so they load fast.
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Databricks & Cloud Databases.
  • Expert level in SQL and relational database design.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications.
  • Audit existing reports and optimize slow-performing data flows or dashboards.
  • Complete understanding of ETL Process.
  • Experience in offshore – onshore working model.
  • Communication should be good
