Job Summary:
Onebridge, a Marlabs Company, is a global AI and Data Analytics Consulting Firm that empowers organizations worldwide to drive better outcomes through data and technology. They are seeking a highly skilled Sr. SQL Database Administrator responsible for the stability, performance, and security of mission‑critical SQL Server platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Own the administration and operational health of Microsoft SQL Server environments across development, test, and production.
• Manage backup, restore, disaster recovery, and high‑availability solutions, including Always On Availability Groups.
• Investigate and resolve complex performance issues such as blocking, deadlocks, failed jobs, and resource contention.
• Collaborate with application teams to tune queries, indexes, statistics, and execution plans for optimal performance.
• Implement and maintain database security, user access, and privileged access workflows, including privileged access management (PAM) solutions and BeyondTrust.
• Automate routine DBA tasks, support upgrades and migrations, and maintain clear operational documentation and recovery runbooks.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft SQL Server in production environments.
• Strong expertise in performance tuning, backup and recovery, disaster recovery planning, and high-availability architectures.
• Proven experience migrating SQL Server from 2016 to newer versions in an Always On Availability Group setup.
• Advanced proficiency in T-SQL scripting, troubleshooting, and automation.
• Experience with SQL Server Agent, replication, clustering, or CDC in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing database security, auditing, privileged access management (including BeyondTrust), and data masking.
