Job description

Cayzen Technologies immediately has a need for at least one SQL ETL Developer to complete work for one SaaS solution supporting Foster Care Parent Applications with a WA State government agency.

This initial engagement is expected to last 12 months.

Technical milestones for this work include prototyping the technical approach of using ETL to manipulate the legacy application data; developing ETL processes to perform bi-directional synchronization for data elements that exist in both repositories; integrating data that exists only in the interim database with the legacy data; testing related downstream processes across the legacy FamLink application that use this data to confirm no bugs were introduced by this work.

The work to synchronize data for the SaaS solution. We anticipate the work during the remainder of the engagement involving stabilization and testing of any required changes as full integration of the SaaS solution is completed.

Assigned work activities include the following duties and tasks:

•    Working with application developers and DevOps to ensure regular, controlled deployment of updates to existing database-driven applications across various platforms including but not limited to development, QA, and production environments – including cloud-based resources.

•    Performs design, development, quality assurance, verification, testing, performance profiling, optimization, migration and maintenance tasks for mission-critical database, business intelligence, API, data integrations, SSIS packages, ETL processes and reporting solutions.

•    Perform data translation, transformation, and data cleansing procedures.

•    Assist in the preparation of data migration plans including migration risks and project milestones.

•    Develop and maintain business metadata.

•    Define, capture, and maintain technical metadata.

•    Use established change management practices.

•    Resolve data quality issues, which may include cross-system dependencies.

•    Assist in determining enterprise data distribution and reporting requirements and priorities.

•    Perform quality assurance review, data migration audit, reconciliation and exception reporting.

•    Creates and maintains data models and data dictionaries.

•    Work collaboratively with subject matter experts and project team to define, organize, document, and communicate requirements.
