Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Database Developer with extensive experience in PostgreSQL and AWS. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance database solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and reliable database solutions.
  • Manage and optimize PostgreSQL for performance and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain cloud-based database solutions (primarily AWS).
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Ensure database security, backup, and recovery processes.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams for database integration.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on database design and architecture.
  • Stay current with latest database technologies and trends.
  • Build and maintain REST APIs using Hasura.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a Database Engineer/Developer.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Expertise in SQL and database programming.
  • Experience with AWS database services (RDS, Aurora, etc.).
  • Proven ability in database design, tuning, and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of data security, backup, and recovery methods.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
