Familiarity with tools like Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, experience with database monitoring systems, and certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate are common requirements. Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication are important soft skills for managing complex systems and collaborating with IT teams. These skills ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of critical data resources in an organization.
