Role: SQA Engineer
Location: Southfield, MI - 100% onsite
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain software quality assurance processes and methodologies in accordance with ASPICE standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, system engineers, and project managers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct software/system testing, including unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing.
• Perform code reviews and static analysis to identify and resolve defects early in the development process.
• Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and specifications.
• Execute test cases and document test results, ensuring traceability to requirements.
• Identify, report, and track software defects using issue tracking tools.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations, including ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
• Provide training and support to development teams on quality assurance best practices and tools.
MANDATORY SKILLS
• ASPICE experience, Embedded System Development experience
OPTIONAL SKILLS
• Certification in ASPICE or ISO 26262.
• Experience with model-based development and testing tools
