Behavior Technician
Status: Part Time and Full Time

Little Spurs Autism Centers provides a paid training pathway to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This entry-level opportunity is designed for individuals passionate about working with children and interested in beginning a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.

• Pay during 30-day training period: $16.00/hour
• Upon successful completion of RBT certification: increase to $18.00/hour
• Little Spurs covers all costs associated with training and certification

The Role

As a Behavior Technician Trainee, you will complete our extensive paid training program and work toward becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Once certified, you will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism using play-based ABA therapy.

You will:

• Provide play-based ABA therapy on a 1:1 basis
• Help children build communication, social, and independent living skills
• Support reduction of challenging behaviors through evidence-based interventions
• Work closely with supportive and encouraging team members
• Utilize a company-provided iPad for data collection and session documentation
• Work under the supervision and support of a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)
• Participate in ongoing learning, supervision, and mentorship opportunities

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Passion for working with children and supporting individuals with autism
• Desire to learn and grow professionally within the ABA field
• Compassionate, energetic, and positive attitude
• Must pass criminal background check
• American Heart Association BLS certification required prior to start date
• Eager and excited to learn new skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
