Job description

Bath N’ Buns Mobile Pet Grooming is looking for a skilled and reliable Part-time dog bather to join our team! You must be a skilled de-shedder with double coated breeds. If you love working with animals, aren’t afraid to get dirty, and can handle physically demanding work, this could be the perfect job for you. We are seeking a highly motivated individual. This position does offer future opportunities for growth.
Position Details:

  • Pay: $17/hour + 100% tips
  • Schedule: 2 DAY’S A WEEK
  • Location: Mobile – Servicing San Bernardino and Riverside County
  • Work Environment: Inside a fully equipped sprinter van
Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional dog bathing experience (Personal experience does NOT count)
  • Must know how to shave paw pads, sanitary areas, and hindquarters
  • Comfortable working with large shedding dogs (up to 100+ lbs)
  • Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (You will be trained to operate our vans)
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy dogs safely
  • Strong animal handling skills—this job is hands-on and physically demanding
Responsibilities:

  • Bathe, dry, and brush dogs to remove excess hair and undercoat
  • Perform basic grooming tasks: paw pad shaving, sanitary trims, and hindquarter trims
  • Clean ears, brush teeth, express anal glands, and trim nails
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace between clients
  • Educate pet owners on proper aftercare and hygiene
  • Drive the mobile grooming van to and from appointments
