Job description

Distribution Center Logistics Associate (JDE/WMS)

Do you enjoy solving puzzles in real time—moving goods, balancing space, and keeping data spotless? Join us to keep coffee, tea, allied products, and equipment deliveries on track while meeting stringent SQF standards.

Imagine this

A trailer arrives early. You stage the dock, hop on a forklift, and unload quickly without sacrificing safety. Inventory gets scanned into the WMS, locations are chosen to optimize space, and you tidy the area to maintain sanitation. Later, a cycle count flags a discrepancy. You pull the JDE transaction history, spot a mis-keyed entry, and fix it—preventing a short ship. Before the day ends, you jump in a sprinter van to provide brief route relief for the local sales team. Smooth, accurate, and customer-focused—that’s your signature.

What you’ll do
  • Handle receiving, order picking, shipping, and sanitation tasks while following SQF policies and procedures.
  • Use forklifts and other MHE to load/unload trucks and make smart, economical use of warehouse space.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through verification steps, system audits, and precise transaction documentation.
  • Resolve overage/shortage issues from the distribution center or outside vendors accurately and fast.
  • Audit system transactions and investigate inventory data entry to maintain JDE accuracy.
  • Conduct complete inventories and weekly cycle counts to keep records current.
  • Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, orderly, and secure facility.
  • Partner with the warehouse supervisor to protect inventory and uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Provide occasional route relief; drive sprinter vans or box trucks to support the local sales team.
  • Take on additional tasks that support branch/warehouse operations as needed.
What you need to succeed
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year in factory/warehouse/inventory/finished goods/line picking preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs; must pass a DOT physical; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Quality control know-how; clear written and verbal communication.
  • Comfort with WMS and computer terminals; accurate reading of numbers/text; basic computer proficiency.
  • Forklift certification preferred and willingness to learn related equipment.
How you show up
  • Owns outcomes with integrity and a can-do attitude.
  • Actively seeks self-improvement and mentoring relationships.
  • Applies critical thinking to prioritize and drive operational improvements.
  • Builds strong relationships and collaborates readily with leaders, peers, teams, and customers; quick to help.
Pay

$20.25–$21.25 per hour
