What are Sprinter States?

Sprinter States are U.S. states that experience a blend of lingering winter and early spring weather, typically during the transition months between seasons. The term 'Sprinter' combines 'spring' and 'winter,' describing regions where snowstorms, cold snaps, and sudden warm spells can all occur within a short period. These states often see unpredictable weather patterns, which can impact travel, agriculture, and daily life. Sprinter States are most commonly found in the northern and central parts of the country, such as the Midwest and Northeast.
